Beyond that, this warranty covers new Ram trucks including the 1500, 2500, 3500, Ram Cab Chassis, and ProMaster. Anyone who buys one of those new Ram models will enjoy a 10-year/100,000 Powertrain Limited Warranty and get all of the coverage of components and parts that comes with it.

While many things are covered under this warranty, at Palmer DCJR, we also think it's important that you learn about what isn't covered, so if the issue ever arises, you understand the differences. It's important to note that while some changes you make to your Ram do not void your warranty, they will not necessarily be components that will be covered by the warranty itself, so keep that in mind. We also want to note that environmental factors are not covered, including weather events like flooding, earthquakes, hailstorms, tornadoes, lightning, and more. You also won't get coverage for tree sap, road hazards, acid rain, bird droppings, or anything like that. Routine maintenance costs are not covered, nor are any damages from racing and certain types of corrosion.

When it comes to coverage, this Powertrain Limited Warranty certainly doesn't feel limited. Many of the most important components will be covered, allowing you to worry less and enjoy every drive that much more. When it comes to your Ram's gasoline engine, some of the components you can expect to be covered include cylinder head assemblies, timing case, timing belt, vibration damper, oil pan, turbocharged wastegate actuator, serpentine belt tensioner, gaskets, and more. Manual transmission clutch parts are not covered, but the transmission parts that are covered include the torque converter, pressure sensors, seals and gaskets, pressure sensors, transmission range switch, transmission control module, and bell housing. Some of the drivetrain part coverage includes the driveshaft, transfer case control module, driveshaft center bearings, universal joints and yokes, PRNDL position switch, and differential cover.
