What engine types run with the 2018 Journey?

There are two different engine options that come with the 2018 Dodge Journey. The first engine is the 2.4-liter 16-valve DOHC four-cylinder engine, which produces 173 hp and 166 pound-feet of torque while running with a four-speed automatic transmission in FWD. Every trim level comes standard with the four-cylinder, except for the GT. The second engine is available on both the SXT and Crossroad trims. The GT comes standard with this engine. The 3.6-liter Pentastar V6, engine produces 283 hp and 260 pound-feet of torque, while pairing with the six-speed automatic transmission. The GT also has the option for towing, with the Trailer Tow Prep packaging adding a four-pin wiring connector, and a hitch.

What are the trim levels of the 2018 Journey?

The 2018 Dodge Journey has a wide variety of interior and exterior colors to make your Journey truly your own. For interior colors you have black being the standard for each trim model, and tan being used exclusively in the SE, and SXT trim levels. As for exterior colors there is a seemingly endless supply: Blood Orange, Vice White, Contusion Blue Pearl, White Noise Tri-Coat, Granite Pearl, Olive Green Pearl, Pitch Black, Redline 2K Pearl, Bruiser Grey, and Billet. The Journey gives you four options for trim, the SE being the base trim level. The SE will give you dual-zone climate control, a height-adjustable driver seat, 60/40- split second-row seats, a 4.3-inch touchscreen, a six-speaker sound system, and keyless ignition/entry. Three package options are available for this base trim, including Connectivity, Popular Equipment, and Comfort/Convenience. Connectivity is the go-to package for Bluetooth, satellite radio, USB port, voice commands, and even an amazing leather-wrapped steering wheel. Popular Equipment is perfect for those added premium options, such as a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a three-zone temperature control system with vents in the rear seats, console storage, and a conversation mirror. The Comfort/Convenience package gives you the very convenient power-adjustable drivers seat. The SXT trim comes standard with both the Connectivity and Popular Equipment packages, as well as a rearview camera, a 8.4-inch Uconnect touchscreen, three-zone automatic climate control, rear sensors, and overhead console storage. The next trim is known as the XT, and unlocks another package option called the Premium package. Premium package will give you satellite radio, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a conversation mirror, and a power-adjustable driver seat. The second to last trim is Crossroad, which adds on the Uconnect package as a standard feature while also including a rear-seat entertainment system, Driver Convenience package, leather upholstery, a sunroof, subwoofer with a six-speaker stereo system, and a navigation system.
