New 2016 Dodge Viper at Palmer Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram for Roswell, GA
The 2016 Dodge Viper is an American legend that has been continuously improved over time. This amazing vehicle has been around for more than four generations and has grown quite a bit in that time to a well-balanced machine with better handling, better equipment choices like tires, stability and traction control and much more. The exterior of the Viper is very muscular with contoured design lines and cool looking intakes and vents. The cockpit is also the nicest of any previous models that utilizes interfaces that only require simple touching and comfortable leather seats make for a great ride.
Under the Viper's Hood
The Dodge Viper power system is an incredible 8.4-liter-liter V-10 and unleashes a massive 645 horsepower which is harnessed by a Tremec six-speed manual transmission. The Viper also gets a huge 600 lb.-ft. of torque. Dodge says that this is the most torque generated by any naturally aspirated sport car on the planet. The vehicle can jump from a standstill to 60 miles per hour in 3 seconds and a top speed is in the range of 177 to 206 miles per hour.
Design of Dodge Viper
Many improvements have encompassed the Viper since way back when it was a noisy two seat sports coupe. The newest model really has arrived to modernity with a soft leather interior environment, touchscreen systems and many occupant friendly controls. The Dodge Viper is also a noisy vehicle but in a good way with great engine noise coming from a greatly powerful engine. This latest generation of the Viper is the very first to be outfitted with stability and traction control but even when they are fully engaged the Viper still has a sporty feel to its handling and retains quite a bit of the enjoyment when driving it. The Viper is also very smartly balanced even when the vehicle is transitioning it does very well. The cabin space is actually quite large which is great for a low-slung sports coupe. Dodge lets us know that people all of the way up to 6'7" are able to fit inside of it. There is also a great deal of leg and head room along with pedals and a steering wheel that adjust to grab the perfect fit possible. Cargo space checks in at 14.65 cubic feet and although these dimensions have changed over the years there remains great space for belongings to be stored. The visual cues from its inspiration remain in place on its curvy, swoopy, vented shape. The fenders swell around the wheels, the hood is long and low, and the roof is slightly bulbous--there's no convertible version of today's Viper, at least not yet. All the details are pitch-perfect, in the perspective of the Viper's racing mission and history.

The stability control dramatically helps the handling which in of itself has also improved mightily especially since those early days.
